Yu Tomita leads the team responsible for internal application development for investment management, productionizing research models, advancing firm-wide process automation, and implementing core libraries for the research teams of Research Affiliates.

Yu received dual BS degrees in computer science and chemistry from Stony Brook University and a PhD in computational science and engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology. As part of her graduate studies and internship at Microsoft Research, she published seven peer-reviewed papers in fault-tolerant quantum computation.
