JOB DESCRIPTION:

This role is for a full-time front-end developer position that involves supporting various activities related to creating and sharing marketing content, which provides insights to the investment community and establishes a strong brand identity for ongoing commercial success.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assisting in building the user interface of our websites and other HTML applications, transforming our business requirements into functional and visually appealing interactive applications, ensuring an excellent user experience, and meeting marketing expectations. The ideal candidate is a tech-savvy professional who is eager to explore new digital technologies and aims to blend usability with visual design.

Although this role is based in the Product Management/Marketing team, there will be collaboration with the Enterprise Systems, Research, Technology, and Compliance teams on various projects.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist senior members of the team with marketing-related development tasks, including but not limited to:
  • Maintaining and improving the company websites and other digital applications as necessary
  • Optimize all applications for maximum speed, performance, and conversion
  • Collaborate with back-end developers and web designers to improve efficiencies and usability
  • Write functional requirement documents and guides
  • Create quality mockups and prototypes
  • Help back-end developers with coding and troubleshooting
  • Ensure high-quality graphic standards and brand consistency
  • Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, required
  • Proven work experience as a front-end developer, required
  • Experience with CSS and HTML required
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, Illustrator, Vector/SVG/Bitmap images, and Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint), required
  • In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development, and deployment), required
  • Understanding of layout aesthetics and knowledge of SEO, required
  • Familiarity with browser testing and debugging, preferred
  • 5 years of relevant marketing experience, preferred
  • Knowledge of financial services and investment management, preferred

Base pay will be determined on an individual basis considering such factors as skills, experience, and qualifications. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
